Planning your Dinner Service
Your reception begins with individually selected hors d’oeuvres
passed, on garnished platters, by our courteous black-tie staff.
Dinner will immediately proceed cocktail hour, with a service chose to meet
your needs.
Plated Dinners
Let our staff cater to your every need with a formal plated dinner.
Salad service will be followed by your main entree selections. When
considering our menu, offer your guests a choice of two entrees.
These will be accompanied by a vegetable and starch of your choice.
When ordering invitations, be sure to include a space where guests
can make their preferred entree selection.
Buffet Dinners
Standard or Upscale
Elegance will not be ignored
if a buffet service is chosen. Your reception coordinator will formally invite each table
up to the
buffet. Upon entering, your guests will be delighted to find
our staff waiting to serve a mouth-watering menu selected by you.
Unlike a plated service, your entree choices do not need to be
included in your invitations. Guests will have the opportunity to
enjoy it all! Additional items may also be added for a minimal cost
giving your guests even more options to indulge.
Village by the Sea offers two different buffet styles. The Standard
Buffet includes all of your selections served from the buffet room.
The menu consists of dinner rolls, salad, two entree selections,
fresh vegetable and a starch. A coffee station is provided in the
Ballroom allowing your guests to help themselves throughout the
evening.
The Upscale Buffet provides the same menu options but the dinner rolls and salads will be served to your
guests at their table. After completing this first course, guests will
then be invited to the buffet to receive the remaining selections.
In addition, our staff will serve coffee during cake service.
