Wells Beach Wells - Located at the end of Mile Rd,
off of Route 1. Beach access is free. Paid parking and limited free
parking. Lifeguards on duty during the day in the summer. Public
restrooms, restaurant/take-out, arcade, and shops
Drake's Island Beach Wells - Located at the end of
Drake's Island Rd, off of Route 1. Close to Rachel Carson Refuge and
not as busy as Wells Beach. Beach access is free. Paid parking.
Lifeguards and restrooms.
Moody Beach Wells/Moody - About a half mile south
of Wells Beach, which is at the end of Mile Rd. Small beach with
limited parking and no life guards, but very nice. Limited free
parking. Few portable restrooms.
Ogunquit Beach Ogunquit - Take Beach St off of
Route 1 in the Ogunquit Center. Portable bathrooms and a bathhouse.
Several shops and food stands.
Goose Rocks Beach Kennebunkport - Located on King's
Highway off of Route 9, north of Kennebunkport Village. No
lifeguards, restrooms, shops, amusements, etc. Very quiet and
peaceful. Parking permit required.
Gooch's Beach Kennebunk - Located on Beach Ave, off
Routes 9 and 35. Lifeguards and public restrooms during summer days.
Parking permit required.
Mother's Beach Kennebunk - Located at the west end
of Beach Ave, off Routes 9 and 35. Lifeguards and public restrooms
during summer days. Small playground. Parking permit required.
