How do I make a reservation for Village by the Sea?
The easiest and safest way to make a reservation is to book on this website or give us a call at 1-800-444-8862. The front office is staffed 24-hours a day.

Do I need to give my credit card to make an online reservation? Is it secure?
Yes, a credit card is required for all reservations made online. To protect against the unauthorized use of your credit card, the reservations process is handled on a secure server that encrypts your credit card information. We will send you a letter confirming your reservation. Please check your arrival and departure dates on this confirmation letter and notify the Village by the Sea immediately if you find a discrepancy.

Do I have to give you any money when I reserve a room?
Yes, we require a deposit of 30% or one night’s rental, whichever is greater, on all advance reservations.

When do I have to pay the balance?
All balances are due at check-in. You may, of course, pay us the entire amount when you book or pay us in installments prior to your arrival.

Do you take credit cards? Checks? Cash?
We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. Personal checks are accepted for advance deposits if the check is received at least 10 days in advance. Personal checks are not accepted at check-in. Cash is accepted anytime.

What if I have to cancel my reservation?
If you cancel your reservation 10 days or more prior to your scheduled arrival, we’ll refund your down payment minus a $25.00 processing fee. If you cancel less than 10 days prior to your scheduled arrival, you will forfeit your deposit. We also don’t offer any refunds for either a late arrival or early departure. You may change your reservation up to 10 days prior to your stay. No changes can be made within the 10 day prior to your arrival.

How many people can we have in a room?
The maximum occupancy for a one-bedroom unit is four adults and/or children. The maximum occupancy of a two-bedroom unit is six people. Rates are based on up to 4 adults in any one- or two-bedroom unit. For additional adults in a two bedroom unit, the extra charge for each adult will be $10 per person per night. Children are not charged this additional fee.

When can I check-in?
Check-in is any time after 3:00 pm.

Can I check-in early?
We guarantee that your room will be available by 3:00 pm but sometimes they are ready earlier. Feel free to give us a call at 207-646-1100 or 1-800-444-8862 to check about the status of your room.

I never received my confirmation email. Where is it?
First check your spam folder; depending on your email provider, it may have been sent there. Otherwise, give us a call and we will verify that we have the correct email address and send you a copy.

I booked on a website other than the hotel website and now I need to make a change to my reservation. How do I do this?
In this situation, you would have to contact the reservation department at the website you used to make your reservation. They will then let us know and we’ll make the appropriate changes.
